2024 Camp Perry Results
This year the results are in and Texans had a good year at the 2024 Nationals Matches
Justin Utley won the Mountain Man Trophy which is an aggregate of the P100 (Monday), NTI (Tuesday) and NTT-Individual (Thursday). He is only the second civilian to ever do so. Justin also won the Pershing Trophy, Pietroforte Trophy, Alice Bull Trophy and High Police Trophy. He also made the President's 100 shoot off and was awarded an Elihu Root Gold Medal. - Congrats Justin.
This year Loni Barry made the National Junior High-power Rifle Team which consists of the Top Six Juniors in an Aggregate of the Presidents 100, National Trophy Individual and National Trophy Junior Team Match plus the Coach and Captain of the winning National Trophy Junior Team Match.
Mike Larkin won the Commercial Carbine match. This makes the third year in a row Mike was high senior, however this year he was high shooter overall.
TSRA Gold placed 2nd Overall and 2nd Civilian in the National Infantry Trophy Team Match.
Six TSRA members earned their Distinguished Rifleman’s Badge over the past year.

Additional Information
New for 2025, the Texas Highpower Series is a super aggregate of the major state matches listed below for a total possible aggregate score of 4,000 points (5 matches x 800 points).
- Greenwood Gun Club Regional
- TSRA Service Rifle Championship
- Golden Triangle Gun Club Regional
- Panola County Gun Club Regional
- TSRA Highpower Championship
This is a winner take all aggregate, to see who the most dedicated shooters in the state are. The winner will be announced at the State Highpower Championship in the fall and get a plaque.
2024 TSRA State Championships
Service Rifle Championship
The 2024 Service Rifle Championship was the first weekend in May at Panola County Gun Club in Carthage, TX.
The winners this year were:
- Justin Utley - 793-35X
- Greg Troxell - 791-27X
- Elijah Edwards - 788-34X
Highpower Rifle Championship
The 2024 Highpower Rifle Championship was held the last weekend in June at the Temple Gun Club in Temp, TX
The winners this year were:
- Jarrod McGaffic - 789-36X
- Verne Conant - 788-37X
- Zevin Linse - 786-27X
