The 2025 Highpower Rifle Championship was held in September at the Temple Gun Club in Temp, TX

The 2025 Service Rifle Championship was the last weekend in April at Bayou Rifles in Juliff, TX.

This marks the first year of the Texas HighPower Series. Six competitors made all 5 matches (plus Bruce Finley who was there but didn't shoot one of the matches)
The winners this year were:
Texas State Rifle Association Gold claimed the Infantry Trophy as the overall team in the National Trophy Infantry Team Match (Rattle Battle). This was only the 8th time in the match's 108-year history that a civilian team had won! Only four civilian teams have ever won the award. The match was first shot in 1922 and is predominately won by the military teams.
Texas also won the Leatherneck Trophy (High Civilian) for the 8th time. The first time Texas won this award was 1964.

Conrad Young placed 2nd overall in the P100 after one of the most dramatic shoot-offs ever held.

XTC matches generally held 1st Saturday of each month.
Monthly XTC, Mid-Range and Long Range matches;Garand matches held in spring and fall all on a 1,000 yard range using E-Targets.

Monthly XTC matches fired on a 100 yard range, walk and paste.

Two to three full weekends of XTC matches per year held and monthly MR matches held on the 4th Sat on a 600 yard range, using paper targets.

Sarah is a former member of the Texas Junior Service Rifle Team and current coach. Her home range is Golden Triangle Gun Club.
Joshua and Robert Brown are current members of the Texas Junior Service Rifle Team and their home range is Greenwood Gun Club. The both earned their final “leg points” together at the Golden Rifle Gun Club Regional.
